Jonathan Zandbergen

Cooking wasn't Jonathan's first love. He was more interested in making music and he dreamt of a life touring with his band. However, things took a different course after he started working in the catering industry when he was 14. There to make some extra money, rather than start a career, life changed when he became a father at the age of 20 and needed a reliable job. His drive and competitive nature propelled him to the top of his industry. So much so that he has won numerous awards, perhaps the most memorable being a Michelin star at Restaurant Hotel Merlet, where he has worked since 2015, and the SVH Master Chef title in 2020. He firmly believes in sharing his knowledge and talent in order to inspire others.
