Dave Pynt

Born in Perth - Western Australia, Dave Pynt studied Commercial cooking at TAFE West Coast Institute of Training before travelling overseas to learn the trade from a number of renowned chefs. Having worked with culinary heavyweights such as Rene Redzepi (Noma, Denmark), Tetsuya Wakuda (Tetsuya's, Sydney) and Victor Arguinzoniz (Asador Etxebarri, Spain), he is now chef and owner of Singapore's Michelin starred restaurant Burnt Ends. Currently ranked 41 on San Pellegrino Asia's 50 Best Restaurant List, Dave was also named winner of the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants Chef's Choice Award in 2017. As well as keeping busy in the kitchen, he's also appeared on TV in Australian MasterChef. His BBQ knowledge is second to none and he loves nothing more than creating unique dishes, giving modern BBQ a true place on the culinary map.
